Porridge scones with banana, raspberries and blueberries. 3pp each or free on F&H. A little more moist on the inside than plain ones but really tasty and don't need butter or jam. Great to have with a cuppa and also to put in kids' lunch boxes!
ingredients:
1 tub (500g) 0%fat natural yogurt
2 tubs porridge oats
Half teaspoon baking powder
Half teaspoon bread soda
1 egg
1 medium banana, mashed
Blueberries and raspberries, fresh or frozen - I didn't weigh or measure these, just used about 2 dessert spoons of each
Mix everything in a large bowl and use an ice cream scoop to divide the mixture into a muffin tray (no cases). I got 14 scones from this mixture.
Bake in oven @180degrees for about 30 mins but this depends on your oven so keep an eye on them!
note:If you let them cool for 10-15 mins and give them a little twist, they'll come out easily enough
