Sauteed Polenta with Marinara
Sauteed Polenta with Marinara Sauce (Weight Watchers 1 PointsPlus per slice) - takes only 5 minutes to make and it's deliciously healthy!
servers: 3-4 slices
- 1 (18 ounce) package organic polenta, chilled
- ½ to 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Trader Joe’s 21 Seasoning Salute* or spices to your liking
- Marinara sauce
- Parmesan cheese
- Slice chilled polenta (my slices were about ⅓ inch). Sprinkle both sides with spices.
- Heat olive oil in a med-high skillet; add polenta slices. Heat for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until lightly browned.
- Meanwhile, heat marinara sauce in a small pot or a bowl in the microwave.
- Top each slice of polenta with a spoonful of marinara sauce and sprinkle with a small amount of Parmesan cheese.
- Enjoy!
